How do I return an item?

RETURN POLICY
Returns are accepted for most new, unused (not installed) items only with prior authorization from our Returns Department. Returned packages must be postmarked within 7 days from the date the items were shipped to you. Once a return is authorized, you’ll be sent an e-mail containing your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the shipping package when returned to:

Please do not write your RMA Number on merchandise; if the number is on the merchandise it will be returned to you without credit. If items are returned without an RMA Number, you will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Golden State Tactical does not refund shipping unless it is our error (as determined by Golden State Tactical ).

Returned items must be in their original packaging and the packaging cannot be cut or destroyed in any way. If items are received in a condition other than how they were shipped, the item(s) will be returned to you without credit. Items received outside of the 7-day return window will be returned to you without credit. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. We encourage customers to ship return items via a reputable carrier that provides tracking information as we cannot be held liable for lost or damaged shipments.

All returns are subject to a 15% (25% for firearms) restocking fee (See “Restocking Fees”). Our Returns department can be reached at 916.961.7189.

FIREARM RETURN POLICY
A firearm cannot be returned if it has left the FFL dealer; if there is a problem with the firearm after you've left the dealer, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.

· Before you proceed with the transfer, make certain that you inspect the firearm thoroughly, to ensure that it is the correct item and free of defects.

· If you leave the FFL dealer with the firearm and there are defects, you will have to contact the manufacturer directly.

· If your paperwork or background check is denied, you must pay return shipping back to Golden State Tactical

· We do NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees for any reason. You are responsible for any contract/negotiation with your FFL dealer.

· There is a 25% restocking fee on returns of all firearms, once a return has been authorized.

Please note that when you place an order for a firearm, it is solely your responsibility to contact your chosen FFL dealer (before shipment occurs) to ensure that they are willing and able to accept the transfer on your behalf. You are also responsible for ensuring the firearm is legal to own in your area.

If a firearm shipped to your dealer must be returned to us as a result of your error, you will be charged for the additional costs incurred with the return shipment. (original shipping cannot be refunded). Examples of this include, but are not limited to, the following:

· FFL dealer is on vacation or no longer in business upon package arrival.

· FFL dealer refuses shipment.

· Background check is denied/failed

· You choose to change dealers after shipment has occurred.

· You change you mind and decide you no longer want the delivered firearm.

· Firearm is determined (after shipment) to be illegal in your area.

· Other situations that are a result of customer error, as determined by Golden State Tactical

Please note that firearm shipments cannot, under any circumstance, be redirected to an alternate dealer once they have left our warehouse – firearms must be sent back to our warehouse and then out to the new dealer.

The policies contained in this page may be altered or supplemented for specific promotions or products. We must insist that you completely review any terms that apply to specific promotions or products.

PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for knowing the laws in your own state, county, city, etc.. BEFORE placing an order, you must ensure that your purchase is legal in your area. If you have any questions, contact your local FFL dealer or law enforcement agency before you order. (Example: Maryland requires fired casings with the purchase of any new firearm-so if you order a firearm for the state of Maryland, be certain it has fired casings. Another example is California which requires that a handgun be on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale). Should a firearm need to be returned because it is illegal in your area, a restocking fee will be charged.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR INSPECTING YOUR FIREARM UPON ARRIVAL, PRIOR TO LEAVING THE FFL DEALER. DO NOT TAKE THE FIREARM FROM THE FFL TRANSFER DEALER IF THERE IS ANY ISSUE WITH THE FIREARM. ONCE THE FIREARM LEAVES THE TRANSFER DEALER, GOLDEN STATE TACTICAL IS NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE OR REQUIRED TO REMEDY ANY ISSUE YOU HAVE WITH THE FIREARM. FIREARMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN IF THEY HAVE LEFT THE DEALER.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Golden State Tactical does not accept returns on the following items (this list is not all-inclusive):

· Barrels

· Ammunition

· Firearms (if it has left the FFL dealer)

· Hearing Protection

· Clothing (hats, t-shirts, polo’s, jackets, gloves, etc.)

· Food items (tactical bacon, chocolate products, candy, etc.)

· Non-Electronic Game Calls

· Batteries

· DVD’s

· Flashlight bulbs

· Sight Installation Tools

· Night Sights

· Optics (scopes, binoculars, rangefinders, etc.)

· All Fishing & Marine Products (rods, reels, lures, boat items, etc.)

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Golden State Tactical takes great care in insuring that items delivered are defect free. Unfortunately not all items can be closely inspected, as some are drop shipped direct from our distributors. If you received a defective item, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance; most products carry a manufacturer warranty. Golden State Tactical does not handle manufacturer defects or warranties.

REFUNDS
Refunds will be processed within 3 business days of receipt of returned merchandise. Once issued, you will be sent an e-mail notification of the refund. Refunds may take 3-5 business days or longer to post to your account, depending on your financial institution. If you paid via USPS money order, your refund will be issued via check and may take 7-10 mailing days to receive.

RESTOCKING FEES
-All non-firearm items are subject to a 15% restocking fee (25% w/out RMA)
-All firearms are subject to a 25% restocking fee
-Any item(s) returned in a condition other than how they were shipped are subject to a 25% restocking fee or return denial without credit (at our discretion).
-Orders returned as "Return to Sender", "Undeliverable", etc will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Re-shipment of these returned orders will be subject to additional shipping charges at the expense of the buyer..

EXCHANGES
Golden State Tactical does not offer swaps, exchanges or replacements on items. If you wish, a Customer Support Team Member may assist you in placing a new order for the correct merchandise while you wait to receive your refund for the incorrect merchandise.

CANCELING ORDERS/CANCELLATION FEES
To request cancellation of an order please contact our Customer Support Team via telephone at 916.961.7189 M-F 9AM to 7PM PST, Sat 9AM to 7PM PST or via our online contact form. For verification purposes, you will be asked to provide your full name, complete billing and shipping addresses as well as the last four digits of the credit card used to place the order. Once the proper information is verified, your order will be canceled within 24 business hours.

No cancellation fees will be applied if the item(s) being canceled are on backorder.

There will be a 15% cancellation fee on all canceled non-firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped.

There will be a 25% cancellation fee on all canceled firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped.

We reserve the right to cancel firearm orders when a customer fails to provide a Federal Firearms License (FFL) from their firearm transfer dealer or fails to transfer their locally purchased firearm at Golden State Tactical. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact customers for their FFL when firearms are ready to be shipped or be transferred. Golden State Tactical reserves the right to decide what constitutes a reasonable attempt. Customers have up to 7 business days (M-F) to provide an FFL, from the time that the firearm is in-stock and ready to be shipped. This 7 business day time frame requirement may be shorter/longer for specific promotions as advertised. Canceled firearm orders will be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25%.

Golden State Tactical reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.
