SHIPPING POLICIES
We reserve the right to ship orders through the carrier of our choice; however most orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. We do not offer expedited shipping. Shipments containing ammunition of any kind will require an adult signature upon delivery. We reserve the right to require a signature on any shipment we deem necessary. All in-stock items will leave our facility in approximately 0-2 business days from when you place the order. Depending on your location and items purchased, may take up to 14 business days.
For backorder and not in-stock items: Your items will arrive in approximately 2-7 business days, after the item ships . Smaller orders (based on total weight) and any orders that must ship to a P.O. Box are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. All long guns (rifles & shotguns), as well as heavy items and larger orders (based on total weight), are shipped UPS Ground. Handguns are shipped either USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2 Day Air based on weight. Surcharges will apply for certain items such as ammunition and fishing rods. A surcharge is added to any order shipping to the following locations: AK, HI, PR, VI. The shipping total is displayed before checkout. You will receive an email notification when your order is shipped. The e-mail will include basic information such as the ship-to address and a tracking / confirmation number. We reserve the right to break-up any order and send partial shipments based on product availability. Split shipments will not incur additional shipping charges if we initiate the split. If the customer requests that an order is split, additional shipping fees may be added to the order. Golden State Tactical is not responsible for shipping delays as a result of weather or other events beyond our control (such as holiday shipping rushes, etc.). Golden State Tactical is unable to guarantee delivery of an order by a certain date or time. Please note that errors or omissions in the Shipping Address supplied to Golden State Tactical may result in shipping delays and Golden State Tactical is not responsible for such errors or the resulting delays that may occur. Our liability ends once the carrier shows that the product has been delivered. Golden State Tactical is not responsible for shipment damage or loss caused by acts of God including, but not limited to, inclement weather conditions. Should you choose to order one or more perishable items or an item that may freeze in cold temperatures or melt in warm temperatures, any and all responsibility of Golden State Tactical for the arrival condition of said item(s) ends immediately upon the order's departure from our warehouse. Claims against shipments that are lost, stolen or damaged during transport are not eligible for refund or exchange until the claim is settled with the carrier. Firearm Shipment Policy All Firearm shipments will be sent to an FFL. It is the Buyers responsibility to ensure that an FFL license copy is sent to us for transfer. We reserve the right to cancel firearm orders when a customer fails to provide a Federal Firearms License (FFL) from their firearm transfer dealer. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact customers for their FFL when firearms are ready to be shipped. Golden State Tactical reserves the right to decide what constitutes a reasonable attempt. Customers have up to 7 business days (M-F) to provide an FFL, from the time that the firearm is in-stock and ready to be shipped. This 7 business day time frame requirement may be shorter/longer for specific promotions as advertised. Canceled firearm orders will be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25%. California Ammunition Shipment Policy All California Ammunition shipments will be sent to an FFL/Ammunition Vendor. IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT WE RECEIVE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION FROM THEIR FFL/AMMUNITION VENDOR AND THAT THEIR FFL/AMMUNITION VENDOR IS WILLING TO RECEIVE THE AMMUNITION ORDER. We reserve the right to cancel Ammunition orders when a customer fails to provide an FFL/Ammunition Vendor License from their Ammunition transfer dealer. Customers have up to 5 business days (M-F) to provide an FFL/Ammunition Vendors License copy, from the date of the initial order. Canceled Ammuntion orders will be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25%. BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITIES You are responsible for knowing the laws in your own state, county, city, etc.. BEFORE placing an order, you must ensure that your purchase is legal in your area. If you have any questions, contact your local FFL dealer or law enforcement agency before you order. (Example: Maryland requires fired casings with the purchase of any new firearm-so if you order a firearm for the state of Maryland, be certain it has fired casings. Another example is California which requires that a handgun be on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale). Should a firearm need to be returned because it is illegal in your area, a restocking fee will apply in addition to shipping charges. See "Return Policy-Restocking Fees". YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR INSPECTING YOUR FIREARM UPON ARRIVAL, PRIOR TO LEAVING THE FFL DEALER. DO NOT TAKE THE FIREARM FROM THE FFL TRANSFER DEALER IF THERE IS ANY ISSUE WITH THE FIREARM. ONCE THE FIREARM LEAVES THE TRANSFER DEALER, GOLDEN STATE TACTICAL IS NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE OR REQUIRED TO REMEDY ANY ISSUE YOU HAVE WITH THE FIREARM. FIREARMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN IF THEY HAVE LEFT THE DEALER. Magazine Shipping Restrictions
