5 of 5 My first 1911 March 20, 2018
Reviewer: Jeff from Nevada City, CA United States
I’ve always wanted a no frills model, as close as possible to an original, and the Springfield Armory Mil-Spec (even with some modern upgrades) fit the bill.
The mil-spec.  comes in a secure plastic carrying case and includes 2 magazines, an extra set of black plastic grips (besides the wooden ones that came on it) and a bore brush.    Built into the 1911 is an internal lock. —activated through a small unobtrusive hole just below the grip safety.

Golden State’s price had been discounted and saved me $100 + over some of the other prices I’d seen.   It’s also a pleasure to deal directly with the owner, Rob, who is very knowledgeable about guns/regulations/laws.

Golden State Tactical is leaving California, but will still do business through the Internet.

5 of 5 Customer service August 11, 2016

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Golden State Tactical a couple of times now. Robby has been a pleasure to work with and has plenty of knowledge of the products and is always willing to assist with any questions. I could not ask for any better service anywhere.

4 of 5 Great service for a first time buyer December 21, 2014
Reviewer: Matthew Silva from El Dorado Hills, CA United States
Quick and easy process to complete the paperwork. The only issue I had was having to go to the sportsman's warehouse to do the handgun safety test. This could have been avoided if I had gotten the certificate before hand since I knew on several days notice I would be dropping by to do the paperwork. It's the real world and things happen, still a great buying experience.
